First off, let's skip right past the part where we have to explain that the 2009 BMW Z4 Roadster is actually a hardtop convertible, complete with a two-piece aluminum roof that electrohydraulically deploys from the trunk in 20 seconds.
This new model takes the place of the former Z4 roadster and coupe models, and it'll be built in Regensburg, Germany, now that BMW's plant in Spartanburg, South Carolina, is devoted solely to X models.
The Z4 looks the same with its 98.3-inch wheelbase, but the hardtop model is slightly larger overall, now measuring 166.9 inches in length (5.8 inches longer), 70.5 inches in width (0.4 inch wider), and 50.8 inches high (0.4 inch lower).
Two engine choices are available. The 2009 BMW Z4 sDrive35i features the twin-turbo, 300-horsepower, 3.0-liter inline-6 with direct fuel injection, and you can choose either the conventional six-speed manual transmission or BMW's new seven-speed, dual-clutch automated manual.

Had a decent little session yesterday, finishing up over $150 in just 2-hours with 3 tables of NL50 (yeah, I know I was supposed to stay at the $25, but the donks are just getting me down at that level). Suited connectors were the hand of the day with some decent pots getting shipped my way on 2 occasions when I hit with 67s and then J10s. The rest was just chipping away with aggressive moves at small pots, which can mount up to a nice win at the end of the session.
on Stars now $341, Tilt at $77
Thinking of either spending some of the money on the books by Dan Harrington which have good reviews, or waiting until I have enough FPPS (was at 2000ish but donked them off trying to qualify for the Sunday Million) was reading the other day about good players needing to invest in education in order to succeed. Makes sense to me as there are only so many complete donks to go around, I plan on moving up the food chain to take the cash off of the people who sort of know what they are doing (like me now really, exept I am stuck at lower limits where there are only a couple of decent players and mostly retards).
Once my 'roll reaches $1000 I might even join cardrunners, or PxF, thou probably Cardrunners as they are more cash. Back to the tables.

The Audi Avantissimo was a concept car by the German automobile manufacturer Audi. The Audi Avantissimo debuted at the 2001 Frankfurt Motor Show in Germany. Audi planned the Avantissimo to be luxurious and distinguished, but very swift at the same time. Many of its styling cues are visible on the next-generation 2004 Audi A8. The Audi Avantissimo had a 4.2 L V8 engine equipped with twin turbochargers. This engine developed about 430 hp (321 kW) and 600 lbft (810 Nm) of torque. The Avantissimo had a six-speed automatic transmission and also had quattro all wheel drive.

Proving again the Trout Underground has become the King of All Fly Fishing Media (move your ass over, Grays), the Worlds Bestest Ever Fly Fishing Blog was prominently named on Page 2 of the Businessweek story, and frankly, we think it couldnt have happened to a nicer guy.
And yes, I jest, but then, it is interesting that a pair of blogs were mentioned on the cover of the Orvis fly fishing catalog (which I still havent seen in person), the Underground has become fodder for a fly fishing TV show, and Im getting more mainstream media mentions all the time (though not from the mainstream fly fishing media).
This suggests the fly fishings blogosphere starting to grow into the same spaces filled by blogs in more progressive markets, and if you take a careful look at the better fly fishing blogs, youll find them filling niches largely untouched by the big magazines.
More on this subject when Ive had more to drink got a little time.
Its The Holidays at the Man Cave
Last night was the official lighting of the Trout Underground/Man Cave Christmas tree, a festive occasion darkened a teensy bit by the utter lack of presents under our mammoth, formerly-growing-too-close-to-the house tree.

Seat 8: Mi||a.TiMe (5,705,289 in chips)
Seat 9: hidalgo18 (1,384,681 in chips)
The table's short stack, hidalgo18, would be the first to go. On the sixth hand of the final table, hidalgo18 open-shoved his last 1.03 million from middle position with Kd-Qc, and yokerface -- also on the short side with just 1.43 million -- called from the button with Tc-Ad. The flop came 2d-Qs-6s, giving hidalgo18 top pair. But the turn was the Ah, giving the lead back to yokerface. The river was the 4s, and hidalgo18 was out in 9th.
Just three hands later, yokerface raised 3x to 600,000 from middle position, and the table folded around to DenyoDeluxXe who pushed all in from the small blind for a total of 2.73 million. Too bad for DenyoDeluxXe -- suckedoutagn was waiting in the big blind with pocket rockets, and therefore promptly reraised all in for 5.18 million. yokerface judiciously stepped aside, and DenyoDeluxXe was left hoping for a miracle with his 8s-8h. None came, as the board ran 4c-Td-Kd-Jd-9d, and DenyoDeluxXe was out in 8th.
The next two eliminations came quickly as well. First yokerface pushed all in for 1.89 million with Jh-Qh and was called by riddup who held Ad-Qd. The board brought no jack (and a superfluous ace), and yokerface was out in 7th. Then, on the very next hand, mmmbillski made a small preflop raise to 512,505, mortens22 called from the small blind, and suckedoutagn also called from the BB. The flop came 6s-Ah-Ts, and when the blinds checked to mmmbillski he bet 845,500 -- about half the pot. mortens22 then check-raised all in for a total of 5.86 million. suckedoutagn folded, and mmmbillski made the call.
mortens22: Qd-As
mmmbillski: Td-Th
mortens22 had flopped top pair, but mmmbillski had him in bad shape with his set of tens. The turn was the Kh and the river the 5h, and mortens22 was gone. Just 15 hands played at the final table, and we were down to five players.
When the players reached the eight-hour break, mmmbillski had assumed the chip lead with a little more than 16 million, followed by suckedoutagn with 7.04 million, Mi||a.TiMe with 5.97 million, D1rtyR1v3r with 5.61 million, and riddup with 4.25 million.
suckedoutagn would soon take the chip lead after claiming a big 12 million-plus chip pot off of mmmbillski. That hand had begun quietly with suckedoutagn calling from the big blind mmmbillski's modest preflop raise from middle position. Both checked the very hammery flop of 7h-2s-2c. The 8h came on the turn, and suckedoutagn check-called mmmbillski's bet of 860,000. The river brought the 8s. suckedoutagn checked, mmmbillski bet 1.45 million, then suckedoutagn surprisingly pushed allin for 4.53 million. mmmbillski thought a while, then called showing Qc-2d for deuces full of eights. Alas, suckedoutagn had Ad-8d for the better boat, and had thus taken the lead.
Thus began a long sequence of preflop jockeying, with chips moving in relatively small increments back and forth across the virtual baize. mmmbillski retook the chip lead during this stretch, pushing up around 16 million, while riddup was nursing the short stack with less than 2 million. riddup was probably very glad to see 3rd and 4th place players D1rtyR1v3r (5.01 million) and Mi||a.TiMe (4.00 million) soon get involved in a huge pot. Mi||a.TiMe open-raised to 885,700 from the button, then D1rtyR1v3r pushed all in from the big blind. Mi||a.TiMe thought a while, then called with 7s-7c, well behind D1rtyR1v3r's Qh-Qc. The board came 9h-Th-3h-5s-8d, and it was rail time for Mi||a.TiMe.
With just four left, riddup gleefully pushed all in on the next hand, and in fact managed to double up when his Ac-Ts held up against mmmbillski's 9d-8d. riddup's joy would last a little while longer, until he pushed all in for 2.63 million with pocket queens and was called by D1rtyR1v3r who held pocket tens. A ten flopped, prompting riddup to type "noooooo" in the chat box. No queen came to save him, and D1rtyR1v3r responded with a "gg...ul" as riddup hit the rail in 4th.
mmmbillski still had the chip lead with 15.84 million as three-handed play commenced, with D1rtyR1v3r next with 12.87 million and suckedoutagn in third with 10.26 million. After nine more hands, the tournament was paused for the players to discuss a chop. By that point, D1rtyR1v3r had moved out ahead (16.77 million), followed by mmmbillski (12.39 million), and suckedoutagn (9.81 million).
As the tournament host explained, any deal would require the trio to leave at least $10,000 on the table. Payouts according to current chip counts were shared with the players, but both D1rtyR1v3r and mmmbillski wanted more than was being offered to them. suckedoutagn wasn't going to give up any of his proposed share, so the tourney was resumed.
Over the next 20 hands, D1rtyR1v3r pushed out to a commanding lead, moving past the 23 million mark. Then mmmbillski shoved all in for 6.8 million with Kd-4d, D1rtyR1v3r called with As-4c, a king flopped, no ace came, and D1rtyR1v3r had fallen back to the pack. Six hands later, D1rtyR1v3r lost another big all in confrontation with suckedoutagn, this time unfortunately running his pocket jacks up against suckedoutagn's As-Ad.
Just like that, D1rtyR1v3r was the short stack with less than 5 million, and soon thereafter would shove all in himself with Jd-6d. His bad fortune continued, as mmmbillski was waiting for him with pocket queens. The board brought no jack, six, or even a single diamond, and D1rtyR1v3r's dizzying swoon ended with him finishing the tournament in third.
At that point mmmbillski and suckedoutagain had almost exactly the same-sized stacks (each with right at 19.5 million) and so quickly decided to chop the remaining prize money evenly and play for the remaining $10,000.
mmmbillski pushed out to a lead during the first dozen hands of heads up, and when the pair reached the nine-hour break he held a 23.2 million-15.7 million advantage. After 50 total hands of heads up, mmmbillski still had the same lead. suckedoutagain soon made a move, taking a couple of medium-sized pots to take a small lead by Hand No. 60 of heads up. Soon thereafter came a huge hand in which suckedoutagn pushed all in with Ad-7d on a on a flop of Qs-As-Kh, only to get called by mmmbillski who held Kd-Ac. mmmbillski's two pair held up, giving him the 37.7-million chip pot. suckedoutagn was down to just 1.22 million.
suckedoutagn survived a sequence of all ins, though, and by Hand No. 80 of heads up had built back up to 11 million of the nearly 40 million chips in play. Then came Hand No. 85.
With the blinds 400,000/800,000 (Level 38), suckedoutagn called from the small blind/button and mmmbillski checked his option. The flop came Jd-Ks-Qd. mmmbillski checked, suckedoutagn pushed all in for his last 10.2 million, and mmmbillski called.
mmmbillski: 9d-Th
suckedoutagn: Qc-6s
mmmbillski had flopped the straight, while suckedoutagn had just a pair of queens. The turn was the 3s and the river the Kd, and mmmbillski took the extra 10 grand reserved for the winner. Congratulations to mmmbillski, as well as to everyone who cashed!

Audi has big plans for Detroit. Many unveilings are planned for this event and the German automaker is no exception. Audi has already released details about its new V-10 powered R8 supercar, along with some sketches of an A7 four-door coupe concept (above) that may also appear at the show.
According to some inside information, the A7 concept will strongly resemble the production model due late next year. Several teaser sketches have been released by Audi, showing uniquely short overhangs reminiscent of the TT coupe, and a pair of highly tapered headlamps. The images also revealed a straight roofline that slopes down that blends directly into the rear hatch.
The A7 is expected to begin with a 204 horsepower 2.8-liter model, followed by a 300 horsepower 3.0-liter supercharged version, and then a 394 horsepower 4.2-liter V-8. Finally, an RS7 would most likely be added on later with a predicted 600 horsepower, twin-turbocharged, 5.0-liter V-10 engine.
Other models rumored to be on the Audi show stand next month will include a new turbodiesel A4 saloon designed for the U.S. market, the new 300 horsepower 3.0-liter supercharged V-6 A6 range, and the 265 horsepower TTS sports coupe.

Clip of a crazy poker hand. One guy has pocket Aces, another guy has pocket Kings, and a third player has pocket Queens.
The 2 other players at the table alos have pocket pairs - 5s and 7s. But both have to fold pre-flop.
Somehow the player holding Kings makes a sick fold, only to see a king show up on the flop. The pocket aces hold up until the river. And then the old 3 outer hits.a queen on the river to bust this dudes aces.ouch.

Tight 3rd row, not much cargo space with all 3 rows, gas guzzler The Q7 is not a BMW X5 rival, I looked at both thinking they're similar in terms of performance, space, and comfort. But the Audi doesn't feel near as nimble as the BMW and the BMW doesn't have the creature comforts of the Audi (nor the size). The Audi does feel solid and confident, but its not a sports car. That's not a bad thing, the Q7 is better suited for long distance traveling at high speeds in supreme comfort. The Mercedes Benz GL and R Class are the only cars that I'd compare to the Audi. I like the Audi's styling, its very futuristic and sporty. The interior is just beautiful. The Alcantara headliner is a nice touch and the seats are extremely comfortable (but are a bit firm). The layout is like that of the A8 and it can be had with the same flawless Bang and Oluffsen 1100 watt stereo system. I skipped out on the S Line package because that would deteriorate ride quality, and the Audi felt compsed even without it. Its easy to pass cars on a mountain in this car with is beefy V8. You never forget that you're driving an Escalade sized German SUV though. I love this car because it's more practical and luxurious than the BMW, yet sportier than a GL450 or Lexus LX570. Its price tag was pushing close to $85,000 so its definitely no steal, but it does reward you with a great ride.

Now that Congress has failed to come to terms on the automaker bailout, it looks like the Bush administration will dig into taxpayer pockets soon.
It appears that were in for another session of non-stop money-printing. Chrysler and GM have asked for $15B, yet Bush appears to be preparing to hand out as much as $40B.
John D. McKinnon, Deborah Solomon and Jeffrey McCracken wrote on 12/15/2008:
The administration is trying to determine how much money it will take to help the car companies, and is discussing a rescue totaling $10 billion to $40 billion or more.
One possible source of funding is the Treasury Departments $700 billion fund set up to rescue the financial industry. Only about $15 billion remains uncommitted from the first tranche of $350 billion, so the Bush administration could be forced to request the second half to cover the car companies needs, people familiar with the situation said.
That likely would compel the administration to outline its plans for a range of other needs, including foreclosure prevention for struggling homeowners and possibly aid for state and local governments. That could spark another confrontation with lawmakers, who are increasingly divided over industry bailouts. Senate Republicans blocked a proposed bailout for the auto makers last week.

The 2009 BMW Z4 was finally presented through the official pictures offered by BMW.
The car will be unveiled at the Detroit Auto Show, but we can at least look at these perfect pictures and enjoy the 2009 BMW Z4 in its true form. The car was equipped with some amazing features for a roadster. It will be the first one of this type with iDrive and the quality of the interior is incredible, you can almost feel it by looking at the pictures. The 8.8 monitor which can be hidden when you turn it off is just one of the technological additions of the new BMW Z4. You can even add a hard disk for more audio/video storage space.
Obviously, the exterior wont let you down. As you can see in the pictures below, the BMW Z4 is probably the best looking car ever made by BMW. The hardtop can open or close in around 20 seconds so you wont have any problems with rain and you will be able to enjoy a little sunshine once in a while.

Choosing the right pot for your plant is one of the most important considerations an indoor gardener must make.
When you buy a plant from the store, it already comes in container, this makes it feel as though the pot was chosen for you. But, you need to decide whether or not your plant will thrive and grow in that pot. You also need to think about the situation, when it comes time to transfer the plant into another pot. Your decision is influenced by whatever container you choose from the beginning.
Aside from issues like color and material, the size of a pot is the most important thing to think about. Size plays an important role, but is also a chief concern when repotting a plant.
A lot of houseplants require repotting at least once a year. This of course will depend upon its size, species and amount of sunlight and many other factors.
A large pot, for example encourages free root growth, and usually provides substantial soil nutrients for them to draw on. Thus, starting with a larger pot will allow the plant to grow faster, leading to quicker repotting. But it can lead to excess water retention, so don't go overboard.
With a smaller pot, it provides less soil to supply nutrients, but can lead to higher concentration levels. There is less growing room with a smaller pot, because it restrains the roots and the plant will grow more slowly. These two things often offset each other, leading time to repot about the same. It is important to remember not to allow the plant to become root bound, this can lead to damage.
When transferring a plant to another pot is necessary, the size of the pot will need to be an inch or to large in diameter for the plant to remain healthy.
How you deal with water draining is another very important consideration. Professional sources estimate that as many as 90% of houseplants are given excessive water. This can oftentimes lead to premature death of a plant. Diseases are another likely condition that can be the result over excessive watering. Most harmful organisms like mold and fungi, need warmth and moisture to thrive and multiply.
Herbs can also be easy to over water. They evolved in poor growing conditions, and had extreme sun exposure. Herbs flourish and thrive in an environment that would stress and possibly kill most other kinds of plants. Bonsai plants, enjoy a moist potting soil or hyponex potting soil, but still need plenty of draining room to ensure that they do not sit in water for extended periods of time.
A pot with plenty of holes in the bottom, is ideal. Keep the holes to a medium size in order to prevent dirt from spilling out or you could even cover the holes with mesh. Holes should not be to large or to small, since they may become plugged up. To test the size, place a pan of water under the plant and fill it about one third full of water. Repeat this exercise until water is no longer absorbed into the soil above it.

Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift is a very unbalanced game.
To demonstrate, I present Roulette abuse.
I know. Level 32 isnt THAT low, and its only the Top Floor of the First Watch. Dont flame me too harshly for a misleading title.
Setup:
HUME
(1) Ninja
(2) Blue Mage
(R) Reflex
(P) Shieldbearer
~equipment~
Azure Tear
Reverie Shield
Reverie Shield
Moon Maiden
Wygar
Heres how it works. The Blue Mages Roulette spell randomly auto-KOs 1 unit on the field. When there are most enemies than allies, the chances for Roulette to hit the enemies becomes higher than 50%. When its 6 against 1, the chances of Roulette hitting an enemy is about 85.7% - higher than a Tranqd Last Breath from an assin.
Of course, it is easy to lose the battle when there is only 1 unit on your side. Thats where the equipment comes in. Between the Ninja jobs natural 15 Evasion and the added 65 Evasion from the equipment, most attacks have only a 20% chance of hitting the Hume. The last equipment should be something to negate OHKO, in case Roulette happens to land on the user. This equipment can be Wygar or Ribbon. The offensive power of Roulette and the defense power of high evasion join forces to create a powerful unit.
Understand that there are weaknesses to this build. Firstly, the Hume must be alone to optimize Roulette. If an enemy is immune to OHKO, you must rely on the Blue Mages Matra Magic for that enemy. Both Roulette and evasion depend on probability to work in favor of the expected outcome - this build is not for the unlucky.
NOTES
1. I did use Action Replay to give my unit Abilities, but only to save 20 minutes of my time. It is perfectly possible for a level 32 Hume to learn Roulette.
2. Because the Humes level and speed are so low, it didnt get a chance to act until 1:35 minutes into the video. Be patient as you witness amazing dodging skills!
3. Good Clan Privileges for this evasion build are Agility Up 5, MP Channeling, and MP Efficiency. Agility Up 5 is more defensive, and the latter two are faster.
4. The 1st and 3rd Roulette, which have a 20% and a 25% chance of failing respectively, both failed. Because of this and the fact my Hume got Speeed-, this video is 2 minutes longer than it needs to be.
5. My Hume did dodge a bit more than expected in the second half, but it wouldnt have needed to if the 1st and 3rd Roulette didnt fail. Also a female Hume would have been better for this battle. Equipping a Ribbon instead of Wygar negates Goo, which negates Immobilization, which allows Reflex to work more often.
